* Webmaster: It seems that "the Wolf" here refers to Pope Francis, who has done more to destroy the Church than build it up. The use of the word "wolf" is very significant since Christ warns us of wolves in sheep's clothing: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves" (Matthew 7:15). The "Son of the Wolf" here would then refer to his recent appointment of the very controversial cardinal-designate Victor Emanuel Fernández (former archbishop of La Plata, Argentina) to the position of prefect of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith. Fr. Fernández was the author of a book entitled "Heal Me with Your Mouth: The Art of Kissing.” Now he warns bishops not to judge "the doctrine of the Holy Father." (Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI said he was unhappy that Pope Francis let go of Cardinal Müller as head of that Congregation.) Since Pope Francis made this appointment, Fernández is in this sense Francis' "Son."
