On April 15, 2023 (Good Friday), a local Italian news source posted this response from visionary and stigmatist Gisella Cardia to attacks initially made by The Guardian, a British newspaper, against her during Holy Week (partially in order to weaken the Faith in Europeans):
The visionary Gisella Cardia announces that she will return to Trevignano Romano on 3 May. That day a gathering of the faithful is scheduled with the recitation of the rosary for the Madonna. You let it be known that you have not left Lazio and you expect to be defended by the Vatican. In the interview with Franca Giansoldati published by The messenger Cardia says she feels under attack from dark forces. “It’s not pleasant to be portrayed as a crook, especially when you have a clear conscience. I feel under attack from dark forces, unidentified powers. My soul is broken, my heart is broken and if I didn’t have the strength to pray I wouldn’t be able to go on”. As for the secretions, Cardia says that “when Our Lady cries it is never a good sign for humanity that it should review its conduct and return to God”. Cardia claims she made no money from the story of the weeping Madonna. But then he adds that the faithful gave her money: “Anonymous donations. Mostly they served to set up the place where we gather to pray. And for charity. I didn’t gain anything else from it.” He also replies to Luigi Avella, who advanced 123 thousand euros: “The gentleman had made a donation with the intention of setting up the place of prayer. And so it was. That’s all”. And he says that on the 3rd, “a day of prayers and confessions is scheduled. A balm for our souls.” Instead, as far as the Vatican is concerned, Cardia says she has had relations “only with the bishop who was there previously. Who has always been very cautious. But after all, these events always need time before they are understood and perhaps then accepted and recognized. The Vatican has its times. The attacks are not coming from an objective news sources. The media is almost universally controlled around the world by the Illuminati; there is virtually no integrity in mainstream news (relevant to The Guardian alone, see: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-guardian/ ). The Guardian has always been liberal and secular. Its charges ( https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/apr/11/the-saint-leaves-italian-town-after-case-opened-into-statues-tears-of-blood ) should not be taken seriously. They have long had a left-wing agenda. For example, where is the scientific proof regarding the blood? Even The Guardian article, lower than the headline, says: “Cacciotti’s claims that the blood came from a pig are yet to be confirmed” (which is tabloid journalism). Cacciotti is just a private detective. It would be interesting to know who hired him. As far as building a shrine, that takes money. Money does not grow on trees. Receiving money, as Padre Pio did, is fine as long as it is not for personal benefit. As far as leaving her town, Gisella Cardia is a sensitive soul and just one person against an international media empire. Innocent people deserve privacy, especially in the most painful moment of their lives. Imagine if she had stayed!
In conclusion, The Guardian has produced an attack article – not objective journalism – similar to the coverage the messenger Christina Gallagher gets in Ireland. Satan only attacks what threatens him. And allegations are all that is necessary in today’s liberal and secularistic media run by the secret societies. Regarding the ridiculous claims and/or lies of some locals, here are three quotes: 1) "And Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house." (Matthew 13:57); and "And he said, "Truly, I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his own country." (Luke 4:24).
As Isaiah wrote of Christ: “He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide by what his ears hear” (3:11). Statement One (Date Unknown)
It was alleged by “private investigator” Andrea Cacciotti, on the basis of unspecified “analyses” that the blood on the statue of Our Lady in Trevignano bore a resemblance to pig’s blood in terms of color and density. It has however been confirmed by the RACIS group of police scientific investigations that no new samples have been taken from the statue since the initial examinations in 2016 (during which Gisella Cardia and her husband Gianni offered their DNA to be sampled). Andrea Cacciotti is a controversial figure in Italian political life: an advocate of private security forces calling himself ‘il comandante,’ he first came to public attention in 2009 when he tried to obtain a million euros from then Prime Minister.

PRESS STATEMENT:
“The Association ‘Madonna of Trevignano ETS’ categorically denies certain reports that are circulating in the press saying that Gisella secretly fled abroad and allegedly misappropriated sums of money from the association’s bank account. These are false claims put into circulation during the Easter holidays. A further dimension of hate can be seen in claims that the analyzed blood allegedly coming from the statue of Our Lady can be traced back to an animal; all of this of course being claimed without giving an account of the place, mode of collection of the storage of the sample, and the analytical method practiced. The result obtained on social media is that a climate of suspicion, distrust, and hatred has arisen, not only toward Gisella but also toward this association, because it is abundantly clear that any of us could become the passive object of attacks and/or aggression, both physical and verbal. With our protection by competent legal jurisdiction remaining intact, we signify as of now that the whole association stands at the complete disposal of the judicial authorities if necessary for any clarifications that may be necessary. In conclusion, we remind you that any defamatory and slanderous actions toward us via the mass media will be followed up by legal action with the competent judicial authorities.”
